Fact: it doesn’t storm every day. If your tour is filled with 7-10 days of thunder and lightning, your shot was one in a million. That being said, in between the storm days we have off days. This section will give you some ideas of things to do at popular travel destinations, and of course we’ll make suggestions when you’re on the road with us!

Our first base city, Oklahoma City, is known for its size, its proximity within Tornado Alley and its history. What you might not expect is the vast number of places to eat, drink and explore. From Automobile Alley to Bricktown, you might want to pack an extra day in before or after your tour to see it all!

Our other base city, Denver, shouldn’t be taken lightly. Sure there are mountains, but did you know there are lakes, sand dunes, and tons of fossil sites? There’s even a naturally formed concert arena open all day every day for exploration of its many nature trails. Red Rocks is a fantastic travel destination, but don’t forget about downtown Denver’s 16th Street Mall and Union Station!
